meh, if it's something small like a $2 commission, I'll usually take points as well. But recently ive just been offered $75 for a game prop i made and frankly, i want that in U.S. dollars. XD For me it depends on the price whether or not i take points. If it's something cheap, I usually will take points.
pft. I get that question "do you take point commissions?" a lot! I even have stamp on my page saying I do not take them >.< I usually just tell them no, unless suddenly the U.S. economy accepts points in the actual market
LOL! That's great! I did it for those that argued that Points were stupid & since they couldn't be reverted to actual money it was...pointless.
I'm still wondering if I'll do this. Oh word of advice, since you are, don't cheat yourself with points which is what I see you doing on your "commission menu" pic. Keep the values equal.
400 points= $5 therefore 80 points= $1 Ex. from your commission menu Whole body anime (high detail) 25 points in money that's $.32 [Really!? You'd do all that for that price!? ]
I suggest you redo your menu and up the points. You're an artist with a unique style, which is always a good thing. Remember your prices/point prices should include your work time and supplies used. Hopes this helps you, and pardon the long response.
Ha! What an interesting point () of view! I originally wanted to make them a bit higher, but most of my commisioners get there points from trading llamas. It would take a VERY long time for them to earn even 100. Once i get a bit more experience, i will probally raise my prices. Thank you so much for your opinion! C:
